Documentation
Definition
Number of days to calculate a key date for the validity start date of promotion price plans during price activation. The key date is calculated by adding the specified number of days to the current date. During price activation, the system ignores all promotion price plans whose validity start date lies after the key date.
Use
The future period prevents the premature activation of promotion conditions.
Dependencies
If you do not specify a future period, no restrictions apply. This does not mean, however, that the future period is zero days or that the system only takes promotion price plans into account that start on the current date.
Example
You have defined the future period as 14 days.
When you run the price activation program on October 15 of a year, the key date is October 29 of that year. Promotion price plans whose validity start dates are October 30 or later will not be taken into account.
