Definition
Within the conflict check, defines the number of days that have to lie between the validity start date of a markdown price plan and that of a promotion price plan.
Use
When a manual price plan is created, the system outputs a warning message if a promotion price plan already exists whose validity start date is closer to the validity start date of the manual price plan than the defined number of days.
During the conflict check, the system takes all promotion price plans into account that do not have status Cancelled or Flagged for Deletion.
Dependencies
You set the flag Conflict Check Against Manual Prices.
The system also outputs warning messages after the validity end date of a promotion price plan. You can define the corresponding number of days in group frame Settings for Promotion Price Plans under Minimum Number of Days to Following Manual Price Changes. The system uses this value even if you do not set the conflict check flag.
Example
You set the interval to one day. If you try to create a manual price plan that is to start on January 14 of a given year, the system will output a warning message if a promotion price plan exists that starts on January 15 of that year.
