Definition

Validity start date for a price plan.

Use

This date is used to restrict the selection of price plans in the Price Planning Workbench. You can specify a single date or a time range for the validity start date.

Restricting by this selection parameter is especially useful for manual price plans and markdown price plans, because they usually have unlimited validity (12/31/9999).

Dependencies

You can also use an interval to restrict the selection of price plans by validity start date.

Example

• Case 1: Specify a single day, such as 07/01/05

  Only price plans that start on this day will be selected

• Case 2: Specify an interval, such as 06/01/05 - 07/31/05

  Only the price plans whose validity start date lies within this date range will be selected.
