Definition

Sales ratio that was determined from sales data in the slow seller analysis in SAP BW. The actual sales ratio relates to a reference quantity, which incorporates the available warehouse stock as well as open purchase orders at the time of going on sale.

Use

Using the actual sales ratio in connection with the markdown profile, the system determines the proposed price reduction for an article in the slow seller analysis. The actual sales ratio is recorded in the markdown proposal that is generated. It can be displayed in the Price Planning Workbench for information purposes when processing markdown price plans, and therefore be used as an aid when defining sales prices.
