Definition

After forecasting has been run successfully, the data of the last forecast run is stored in the forecast master data. Note that in store forecasting, the planning date is stored. This is not the case in standard forecasting.

As well as providing information, the forecast date can also be used to schedule all planned forecast runs in waves.

Note, however, that the forecasting date is stored as a data field in the source database table and that accessing the database may take some time.
