Definition
Indicates that assortment list versions should not be created until later, using the IDocs that are generated.
If you set this indicator, no assortment list versions are created in the current transaction.
Use
Set this indicator if you do not want to create the visual assortment lists until after the assortment list IDocs have been created. You can create the visual assortment lists using transaction WBBV_HPR once all assortment list IDocs have been created.
Dependencies
In the assortment list profile you have basically defined whether assortment list versions are created or not. This profile is still valid. The indicator simply decides whether the assortment list versions are created in one step or two. If you create the versions later, the current transaction will create IDocs even if you have switched off the send as IDoc option in the assortment list profile.
Example
You require the assortment list IDocs in your store in the mornings for supplying the cash registers. In addition, you would like a printed version of the assortment list to be available in the afternoons for checking purposes. You create the printed assortment list later (two step) using the IDocs and therefore you set the "Generate Versions Later" indicator when creating the IDocs.
In the assortment list profile, you have set application mode "3" (Send as message and save versions) because you basically want to create IDocs and versions.
