Definition
Defines how the open quantity and open value is calculated in a trading contract.
Use
In a trading contract, it is possible to calculate open volumes (open quantity and open amount) at item level.
For example:
Total quantity in trading contract = 100 PC
Delivered quantity in follow on logistics document = 50 PC
The open quantity for the trading contract item (available for the delivery quantity) is thus calculated as 50 PC.
In the standard system, calculation types are provided for calculating open quantities or open amounts. Each calculation type has a corresponding function module and thus you can create your own calculation types in addition to the calculation types provided in the standard system.
