The data element describes the variant quantity that occurs for the receiving item in association management. The receiving item is fully associated. A quantity variance occurs if there is an overdelivery or underdelivery.
In Association Management, the variant quantity of a fully associated receiving item influences the complete quantity, but not the open quantity and the associated quantity.
