Definition

Controls the association separation for the preceding association.

It may be necessary to separate association if an association quantity from a preceding association has to be reduced. If the open quantity for the preceding item is less than the reduction quantity, the difference cannot be transferred to the preceding item. To enable the quantity reduction to be made, the preceding association must be separated to a certain extent at least.

The following situations are possible:

  • No association separation:
    Preceding associations are not separated.
  • Automatic, complete:
When the association quantity is reduced, the preceding association is automatically completely separated.
  • Automatic, partial:
The preceding association is automatically partially separated. This means the preceding association is reduced by the reduction quantity.
  • Manual, complete:
Separation of the preceding association must be requested specifically using a pushbutton. The association is then completely separated.
  • Manual, partial:
Separation of the preceding association must be requested specifically using a pushbutton. The user enters the separation quantity in a dialog box that appears.
