Definition

The Portfolio Determination Type defines assignment rules for a trading contract.

Use

The Portfolio Determination Type contains the following information:

  • Portfolio Procedure
    • Determines groups of portfolio types.
    • The portfolio type determines which access sequence is applied so that the appropriate portfolio can be found for the trading contract item.
  • Date
    • The date to be used as the date for the portfolio.
  • Points in time
    • Defines the time when a position is determined.
  • Searching strategy
    • Defines how a portfolio is determined.
  • Exclusive accesses

The Portfolio Determination Type is assigned to a trading contract type so that a portfolio number can be assigned to a trading contract automatically or manually.
