Definition

You can use this field to assign an alternative supplementary pension fund to an employee, in other words, a pension fund that differs from the assignment in feature VAGKY and the employer table. This is necessary if an employee receives a standard payment that differs from the payments for the payroll assocation, for example, if an employee in the pay scale area East is paid according the West pay scale.

Example

An employee changes from a Western personnel subarea to an Eastern subarea, however, as before, the employee is paid according to the West pay scale. Since the new personnel subarea is also assigned to a different supplementary pension fund with a different contribution rate, the SPF key in infotype 0051 must be overwritten because the employee is still paid according to the West pay scale and not according to the East pay scale, therefore, an alternative payroll key applies.
