Definition

Some map providers do not return tiles. Instead they always deal with a complete picture. Using these pictures as tiles to assemble a bigger picture leads often to improper labels. Additionally there might be copyright notices on every tile.

In order to overcome such issues a map layer can be flagged as Single Picture Layer.

Use

If the map layer is tile based you set this property to false. If the service returns a single picture you should set it to true.
