Definition
The Level of Detail (LOD) defines a certain map resolution. The offset defines how for you can further zoom out or in without a change in the LOD.
Use
Define an LOD Offset if you restrict the allowed LODs, but you want to give the user a bit more freedom in zooming.
Dependencies
A LOD Offset makes only sense together with a restricted LOD in the context of the Visual Frame.
