Definition
The employer's contribution indicator determines the level of the employer's savings plan contribution.
Use
An employee with several savings schemes, receiving different employer contributions, is paid the maximum employer contribution.
However, the maximum employer's contribution must not exceed the total of the savings amounts of the individual savings plan contracts.
Example
An employee saves 78,00 DM a month.
As a trainee, the employee has a contract with an employer's contribution of 52,00 DM.
As an employee, the employee has a second contract with an employer's contribution of 78,00 DM.
Since the employer's contribution in the second contract is greater than that in the first, only the employer's contribution in the second contract is taken into account.
