Documentation
Definition
A vacancy is an open position within the company which must be filled. Vacancies are generally published by means of job advertisements in order to recruit suitable candidates.

Procedure
If the applicant is an unsolicited applicant, enter the key for all vacancies to which the applicant is to be assigned.
If the applicant refers to a job advertisement in the application, please proceed as follows:
- Select the Default vacancy function.
All vacancies published in the advertisement are automatically listd in the Vacancy field.
- If necessary, delete the vacancies for which the applicant is not being considered. To do this, position the cursor on the vacancy in question and select the Delete line function.

Use
You must maintain this field in order to evaluate the status of the selection procedure for a vacancy.
NB You can only specify a vacancy here if the applicant has also been assigned to a vacancy. This is always the case when there is a record for the applicant in infotype 4002, Vacancy Assignment.
