Procedure

Creating a Business Partner

Depending on the type of number assignment, the business partner number is either automatically assigned by the SAP System, or assigned by the user. Furthermore, it is possible to have the number assigned by an external system.

The chosen grouping is important for number assignment, since it uses the number range to determine:

• whether the business partner number is assigned automatically or manually
• the interval in which the number must occur.
