Use
If the data model uses a reuse active area, you can determine that the system should use the generic authorization object of Master Data Governance (USMD_MDAT) instead of the authorizations of the reuse active area.
By default, the system uses the authorizations of the reuse active area. If you select the checkbox, the system uses MDG-specific authorization objects.
Dependencies
If you use the generic authorizations of MDG, in the Customizing activity Create Authorizations for Data Model you also need to create or edit the Authorizations for Entity Types and the Authorization-Relevant Attributes for the entity types with the reuse active area.
Note:
If you use the authorizations of the reuse active area, the system does not evaluate any settings for the Authorizations for Entity Types and Authorization-Relevant Attributes.
Example
For supplier master data you can use the original authorizations (from the ERP system).
