Documentation
Definition
Defines which role the additional entity type in the hierarchy of the selected entity type should or can play.
Use
- Hierarchy names:
Select this usage if you want to use the entity type as the root node (hierarchy name). For each entity type for which a hierarchy can be set up, you must specify one additional entity type with this usage. The additional entity type is not allowed to have higher-level entity types, that is, it cannot be used as a to-entity type in a relationship with Leading as the relationship type.
- No Special Use:
Entity types with this usage can be used as actual nodes and as lower-level hierarchy nodes.
Dependencies
You can only specify entity types that have 1, 2, or 3 as the storage and use type.
If you have specified that it is possible to build a non-cross-name hierarchy for the selected entity type, the system stores the hierarchy structure for each entity of the additional entity type.
