Definition

Maps the properties of an entity type within a data model.

Use

You define an attribute for each property that is to be assigned to an entity type in the data model. The defined attributes are available for processing in Master Data Governance.

Note

Alternatively, you also can define an attribute as an entity type with the storage and use type 3 and assign it to entity types through relationships.

Dependencies

When defining the data model, you can assign attributes only to entity types with the storage and use type 1 or 4.
