Definition

In the Manual leave deduction field, you determine whether absence quota type 99 (leave) can be reduced manually in the Absences infotype (2001).

Deduction is automatic in the standard system: leave is deducted first from the standard annual leave entitlement then from leave for severely challenged persons, etc.

It may be necessary in individual cases to control this automatic leave deduction manually. This means that the system cannot update data record.

Procedure

You can make the following distinctions to control manual leave deduction:

  1. BLANK     Manual change not possible
  2. 1         Only the amount deducted from the leave types
            may be changed
  3. 2         Only the amount deducted, leave types, leave
            year and the number in the year may be changed.
