Use

The update indicator for infotype 4000, Applicant Actions, determines whether a data record documenting the execution of an action is stored in the infotype when the action is performed.

There are two types of update indicator:

  • "x"

    If the update indicator for an action is "x", this signifies that a data record is stored in infotype 4000 Applicant Actions when the action is executed.

  • "blank"

    If the update indicator is blank, this signifies that no data record is stored in infotype 4000 Applicant Actionswhen the action is executed.

Actions for which a data record is stored in infotype 4000 Applicant Actionsdocument important tasks such as rejecting or hiring the applicant.

Actions for which no data record is stored in infotype 4000 Applicant Actions process a group of infotypes in a transaction run by the system without documenting this in infotype 4000 Applicant Actions.
