Definition

Specifies the name of the virtual column. The name of a virtual column may only contain letters, digits, and underscores, and it must begin with a letter.

Use

A virtual column can be used to display an image or to calculate a value in a result table of the MDP view.

When it is used to calculate a value, you must implement the BAdI BADI_UPARM_ROW_MODIFIED in the enhancement spot ES_UPARM, in order to define how the value will be calculated.
