Definition

The key figure number is used to uniquely identify an info provider column within an MDP view.

Use

The same key figure can be mentioned in different info provider columns. However, in each column the key figure will have different charateristic dimension restriction. In order to uniquely identify each info provider column, you would have to assign a different key figure number to each of those columns .
