Documentation
Definition
Name of the characteristic dimension used to restrict a key figure column.
Use
It might happen that you want to use the same key figure multiple times in the same results table.
Dependencies
You have the key figure 0CPBAINSABU which represents the sales unit per assortment. When 0VERSION is equal to F01, the value of the key figure 0CPBAINSABU will represent the forecast value for the sales unit per assortment. And when 0VERSION is equal to RP1 the value of the key figure 0CPBAINSABU will represent the planning value for the sales unit per assortment. By restricting your characteristic dimensions in the colums, you can have two columns in the MDP view that are based on the same figure 0CPBAINSABU, the first column will be for the forecast value and the second column will be for the plan value.
In this example, the restricted dimension will be 0VERSION and the dimension fixed value will be F01 or RP1.
