Documentation
Definition
Element of a value driver tree. The same value driver can be used in different value driver trees. A value driver refers to exactly one object. In release 3.0a, this object can only be a measure. Such a reference is necessary when value fields, and thus transaction data, are to be assigned to the value driver.
A value driver has value driver tree-independent attributes and value driver tree-dependent attributes:
- Value driver tree-independent attributes:
- Texts
- Definition
- Reference to an object (measure)
- Value driver tree-dependent attributes:
- Owner
- Supply of the value fields with transaction data (if a reference to a measure exists)
- Link to BW reports and workbooks
- Link to BIC documents
