Definition
Indicator for the way, in which measures are written to the standard BW system.
There are two possibilities:
- Synchronous writing: An RFC connection is called and - if the BW system is available - the measures are immediately written to the BW system. If the BW system is not available, you have to try again.
- Asynchronous writing: A transactional RFC connection to the BW system is called. If the BW system is available, the measures are immediately written to the BW system. If the BW system is not available, the task is processed in the background until the BW system becomes available and the data can be written from the current system to the BW system.
