Use
Every information provider has a specific system for identifying a company uniquely. To run a search request for a business partner at an information provider, you need the specific ID of the business partner at this information provider.
Dependencies
When you assign the ID determined to a business partner, the system automatically enters it in the ID Number field of the business partner master record. Together with the ID Type field, the ID number in the business partner master record enables you to uniquely identify a company in your SAP system.
