Documentation
Definition
The original source describes the original (internet) document, which is used as the basis for the newly created document. Either the copyright/author or the content provider should be selected for this. In the tab "Research", there is a pushbutton to copy this information from the source location. To do this, select the corresponding text and then press the appropriate pushbutton. The text for the original source is then automatically transferred into the corresponding field in the tab page "Editing"->"Attributes".

Use
You can directly edit the original source of the document here or copy it from the page, which is displayed in the tab "Research". When you choose the second alternative, then you select suitable text passages in the (internet) page which is displayed in the tab "Research" as the original source, and press the button "Original source". This triggers a copy action, which transfers the selected text.
Tip: Go to the end of the page displayed in the tab "Research", as information can be ususally be found here on the author or the publishing center.
Meaning:
On the one hand, the original source is necessary for copyright reasons, on the other hand it can also be useful for the quality evaluation of content providers. Generally, the original source is always of interest to the information receiver.
