The language for the results documents indicates in which possible language(s) the results should be delivered. The Editorial Workbench does not use this information. It is important for the info broker, who then either selects the content provider for the research according to this criterion, or translates the results from content providers deviating from the language specified.
For example, an info user has entered "German" and "English" as possible result languages. The info broker only finds a part of the relevant results in an English-language online database, another part in a German-language internet site. He can either generate a research document into which he copies both results, or create two separate documents which reflects the information of the individual content providers in the respective language.
