Definition
A quantity of search criteria represents the information requirements of an info user and forms the basis for the following actions in the internet:
- Queries to search engines
- Queries to online databases
- Profile settings with news services
- Parameterization of change data
It is the task of the info broker to extract as accurate search criteria as possible from the info user's freee text in order to edit the information requirements.
A search criterion is normally a single word. In order to summarize several words as an individual search criteria (for example first and last name), you set the Phrase Indicator.
