Definition
This flag indicates whether or not SEM-BIC makes a specific characteristic available in the Editorial Workbench for assignment to documents.
If the flag is checked, then the characteristic can be restricted to a specific value for document assignment. The document is then assigned to the combination of characteristic value(s) and the selected key figure.
If the flag is not checked, then the characteristic is not displayed for document assignment and can, therefore, not be assigned to the document.
