Description of a content provider in plain text.
The description of a content provider is part of a profile on the technical and content description of a content provider. The profile of a content provider is created using the BIC component "Source Profile Builder". This is the prerequisite that a content provider is offered for selection in the processing of research requests and that search queries are syntactically correct parametrized.

Use
You can define the description of the content provider freely. In this way, you have the possibility to increase the benefit of the favorites list, by using as clear and easily understandable descriptions as possible for the content provider.

Use
Here you can call up one of the preselected content providers from the tab page "Content provider" by means of direct entry or selection from the F4 possible entries.
When you have searched a content provider for relevant information, set its status to 'completed'. In this way, this content provider is removed from the "offer" when calling up with F4 possible entries, so that you can process your worklist gradually.
Dependencies
If no content providers have been preselected yet, no entries can be made here.

Use
This is where you make a preselection of content providers, which you want to use to process the research request. From this worklist you can then process the content providers gradually for the research request in the next processing step on the tab "Research".
The profile of a content provider is created using the BIC component "Source Profile Builder". In the Editorial Workbench, you can access this Customizing transaction using the menu "Environment".
If (among other things) content providers were created of the type "internet search engines" or "online databases" using the BIC component Source Profile Builder", then note the following regarding the F4 possible entries:
With the F4 possible entries, all the providers of the type "internet-search engine" or "online databases" are offered for selection. Though only those can be transferred into the preselection, which are suitable for the query. This is displayed by an appropriate symbol.
