Definition
The processing status of a research request is mainly used for the visualization of the processing process and refers the info broker to newly arrived research requests. It cannot be set directly by the user, instead it is dependent on actions, which are executed by the user.
There are the following processing statuses:
(1) "new"
A research request was created by a user outside the Editorial Workbench (by means of the HTML entry form using the ITS service). This status is presented in the list with a round green symbol. In this only a short text, a text for the information requirements, and the desired delivery parameter are entered.
(2) "in process"
The research request was already processed and saved in the Editorial Workbench. Results documents were possibly already generated. However, sending to the user or an assignment to evaluation objects has not taken place yet. This status is presented in the list with a triangular yellow symbol.
(3) "completed"
The research request was edited completely, the results documents were successfully sent to the user or assigned to evaluation objects. Research requests with this status are not visualized in the list.
(4) "on hold"
Research requests with this status are also not visualized in the list. These research requests have a periodic delivery frequency. They appear again in the list as soon as the next activation date is reached, and indeed with the status "new".
