Definition

If you choose this option, you will be prompted for a transport request the next time you save changes to customizing settings or master data.

Use

If you choose Prompt Transport Request Only Once, you are prompted for a transport request the first time you save changes. If you make more changes and save again without relaunching the workbench, the system automatically uses the transport request you entered for the first save.

If you want to record the changes in a different transport request the next time you save, choose this option here. Then the system will once again prompt you for a transport request the next time you save. The system then automatically uses the last transport request in all subsequent save operations.

Dependencies

This option takes effect only if in the current client you have activated automatic transport recording and chosen Prompt Transport Request Only Once.

This setting is not stored as a personal setting because this option only affects the next save operation in the current workbench session.
