Definition
The target location is the data location into which the source data is transferred during synchronization. This can be application-dependent, for example, SAP BW or R/3 systems.
Use
For reasons of consistency, you should never change the original data using manual synchronization, which means that you should never set the original location of the respective application as the target location.
