Definition
Search depth when drilling down an object
Use
The search depth determines how deep the system drills down referenced objects in a Customizing comparison. The greater the value, the deeper the system searches the structure of complex objects (such as tasks). Select a high value to ensure that the system reaches differences in subobjects that are deeply buried in the object hierarchy.
Note: We recommend that you increase the search depth in small increments. Increasing the search depth can result in considerably longer runtimes..
Dependencies
Increasing the search depth only affects objects that contain deeply nested subobjects.
