Use
If you set this indicator the system initially deletes all values in the selection when importing the transport request. This indicator also has the effect that the selection is evaluated as per the time of the export (therefore not the objects contained in the selection at the time of the transport definition).
Dependencies
Example
You want to transport all values of a characteristic.
The values A and G exist for the characteristic in the source system the transport request is created. A new value C is created after creating the transport request and before exporting the transport request.
The values A, G, and H exist in the target system.
The system behaves as follows when you select this option:
- Value C is simultaneously transported although it did not exist when the transport request was created.
- Value H is deleted in the target system.
- Values A and G are completely replaced in the target system with the definition from the source system.
The master data will be identical (in relation to the selection condition used) in the source and target system after the transport if you use this option.
