Time dependency of hierarchies was turned off for this characteristic. To be able to continue to use at least the most important of the time-dependent hierarchy data, you have to copy the old data on a specific key date. Any other data (older or future data) is deleted.
Use
Enter the key date for which the old hierarchy data should be copied to the time-independent hierarchy.

Normally the hierarchy for the current date meets your requirements. Therefore today's date is the default setting.
