Value of an asset at the beginning of a fiscal year.

The key figure Beginning Book Value, Current Fiscal Year is the beginning book value of the first closing period of the current fiscal year.

Use

You need to specify this key figure when you create a data record for assets/liabilities in manual entry of additional financial data.

Dependencies

On the Asset Transfer tab page in manual entry of asset transfers, it is not possible to specify the asset bought for the key figure Beginning Book Value, Current Fiscal Year and the key figure Beginning Book Value. This is possible only on the Additional Financial Data of Asset Bought tab page. By default, these two key figures are set to the the original value of the asset (acquisition/production cost).
