Documentation
Definition
The lead character of a data row, which determines the row type.
The system supports the following indicators (row types):
- Header row
- Data row
- Row with hierarchy information
Use
When using row type indicators, each row (except for comment rows) must begin with a valid indicator.
You can use more than one header row in a file. The parameters of each header apply to all following rows up to the next header row.
When using column separators, you must also separate the indicator from the first data field.
If no row type indicators are used, the first row that is not a comment row is regarded as the header row, and all other rows as data rows.
