Definition

Use

If the combination of organizational units of the source system is defined in the consolidation system as one characteristic with the role consolidation unit, you can specify that the end nodes of the source hierarchy also become consolidation groups during the data transfer.

For more information, see End Nodes in Source Hierarchy Become Consolidation Groups in the SAP Library under SAP Strategic Enterprise Managment.

Dependencies

Example

In the consolidation system, you have defined the combination of profit center and company as one characteristic with the role consolidation unit. When transferring the hierarchy of consolidation units or the master data of the consolidation groups, you can select the indicators as follows:

  • If you do not select the indicator, only the profits center groups of the source hierarchy become consolidation groups.
  • If you select the indicator, both the profits center groups and the profit centers of the source hierarchy become consolidation groups.
