Use
You use the file type File for Normal Flexible Upload to load files that were not created specifically for integration with the Consolidation component of SAP Enterprise Controlling (EC-CS).
You use the file type FI-SL Rollup File to upload rollup files from special purpose ledgers in financial accounting (FI-SL).
The following file types are used to transfer organizational units from SAP Enterprise Controlling (EC-CS and EC-PCA):
- You create files of the type Profit Center/Company Combination from SAP ECC with the transaction CXNA in the sender system. This file type contains the combinations of profit centers and companies, and also the profit center master data from SAP Enterprise Controlling.
- You create files of the type Profit Center Hierarchy from SAP ECC with the transaction CXNA in the sender system. This file type contains the profit center hierarchy and, implicitly, the master data of the profit center groups from SAP Enterprise Controlling.
- If you choose the file type Profit Center/Company Combination and PC Hierarchy from ECC, the system loads both the file with the profit center hierarchy and the the file with the combinations of profit centers and companies from SAP Enterprise Controlling. This is necessary if you load the consolidation group master data or the profit center hierarchy, and the combination of profit center and company is defined in SEM-BCS as one characteristic with the role consolidation unit. You create both files with the transaction CXNA in the sender system.
- You create files of the type Business Area/Company Combination from SAP ECC with the transaction CXNB in the sender system. This file contains the combinations of consolidation business areas and companies from SAP Enterprise Controlling.
