Definition

Specifies how the system is to post the offsetting entry for the adjustment of minority interest in the Step Acquisition activity:

• As part of the differential
• To the reported items for other comprehensive income, that is, as an adjustment of the group value for other comprehensive income.

If you choose the Adjustment of the Group Value, the system always calculates the adjustment of the group value and minority interest value of other comprehensive income in activities that change the degree of investment (step acquisition, partial divestiture, transfer posting) on the basis of the group share of the investee unit. This is also the case if you have configured in the consolidation of investments method that the system is to calculate acquisitions with direct shares.

You can only choose Adjustment of the Group Value if you have activated the Other Comprehensive Income in Total Divestiture function.
