Documentation
Definition
Quantity of goods in a product group.
Use
This quantity is used to calculate group cost of goods manufactured (COGM) during the elimination of interunit profit/loss in inventory. However, this is only possible if the corresponding COGM per unit of measure is entered for the supplying unit.
Enter the quantity of goods in the product group concerned.
Dependencies
If either the inventory quantity, the corresponding COGM per unit of measure, or both are missing, the system calculates group COGM using the book value, valuation allowance, and supplier percentages.
