Documentation
Definition
MultiProvider comprised of the virtual InfoProvider and the reporting InfoCube.
Use
The MultiProvider is used in the delta load scenario to enable fast realtime reporting. The queries are defined in the MultiProvider, not in the virtual InfoProvider.
Dependencies
This rests on top of a configurable data mart that transfers data from the transactional InfoCube into the reporting InfoCube (delta load). When you run queries on the MultiProvider, these queries read the data from the reporting InfoCube that has already been successfully transferred from the transactional InfoCube. Data that has not been transferred yet (the most current data) is read using the virtual InfoProvider.
