Definition

Determines the direction in two-sided eliminations for the assignment of organizational units to selections.

Use

You can choose from the following elimination directions:

• Consolidation unit A reports the items in selection 1;
  consolidation unit B reports the items in selection 2.
• Consolidation unit A reports the items in selection 2;
  consolidation unit B reports the items in selection 1.
• Special case where selection 1 = selection 2: If selections 1 and 2 contain the same accounting objects, elimination takes place in one direction only.

Example

Selection 1 / selection 2: The receivables of A are eliminated against the payables of B.

Selection 2 / selection 1: The payables of A are eliminated against the receivables of B.
