Definition
A selected item in the balance sheet used in automatic postings to ensure that the balance sheet and the income statement stays in balance per consolidation unit across consolidation units.
Use
The system uses this selected item to post a balancing adjustment if the balance sheet of consolidation unit is not in balance and this state of affairs is not to be regarded as an error during the calculation of the annual net income and retained earnings.
