Definition
Incidental acquisition costs are capitalized for the group. These costs increase or decrease the group cost of goods manufactured (COGM). In the reporting company, these incidental costs are directly charged as expenses.
Use
Incidental acquisition costs are used in elimination of interunit profit/loss in transferred inventory to calculate the group cost of goods manufactured and the interunit profit or loss.
