Definition

If you set this indicator, the system treats a differential that resultsfrom an Increase in Indirect Investment activity as follows:

• The system posts the indirect differential to the investee unit for the increase in indirect investment.
• In a partial divestiture or a transfer, the system always adjusts the indirect differential to the changed group share of this investee unit. This happens regardless of whether or not you have configured direct shares or groups shares in the consolidation of investments method for Acquisitions.

Use

Dependencies

You can set the Post Indirect Differential to Investee Unit indicator only when you have activated the Partial Divestiture as Equity Transaction function in the system utilization for consolidation of investments and if you have not defined the current consolidation of investments method for the accounting technique equity method.
