Item for the offsetting item for other comprehensive income on the debit side
Use
For the offsetting item for posting the group values of other comprehensive income with an effect on net income, you can select items in the balance sheet or in the income statement. You do not necessarily have to assign various offsetting items to the different items for other comprehensive income. You can also choose the same offsetting item for debit and credit postings.
Dependencies
The Customizing settings for Other Comprehensive Income are only relevant if the Other Comprehensive Income in Total Divestiture function is active in the system utilization for consolidation of investments. In this case, the system posts the group values of other comprehensive income to the relevant posting item as well as to the offsetting item in the Total Divestiture activity.
